The Philadelphia-based firm Pennoni recently honored ASCE with the 2016 Ellipse Award at its annual Ellipse Gala, held at the National Constitution Center. The Ellipse Award is given annually by Pennoni to a member of the community who has improved the quality of life through continued improvements to or investment in infrastructure.

“Conversations on infrastructure were placed at the forefront of national debates this year, highlighting the critical impact that our infrastructure systems have on the health, safety, and quality of life enjoyed by all Americans thanks to ASCE’s 2013 Report Card,” said Pennoni President and CEO Anthony Bartolomeo. “Their work is tremendous in bringing awareness to the value of quality engineering.”
