ST. LOUIS SECTION Missouri S&T educator, alum named ASCE Fellow Robert Ray Holmes Jr., Ph.D., P.E., D.WRE, F.EWRI, F.ASCE, national flood hazard specialist and coordinator for the U.S. Geological Survey, has been named a Fellow by the ASCE Board of Direction. Holmes holds academic appointments as an adjunct professor of civil engineering at both the Missouri University of Science and Technology and the University of Illinois. He’s also a past president of the Mid-Missouri Section of ASCE, a member of ASCE’s computational hydraulics committee, and vice-chair of the St. Louis Section of EWRI.
