NEVADA SECTION Water conservation initiative changing the game ASCE recently designated 15 projects as Game Changers, adding to the 41 projects and 24 trends announced in 2015 at the outset of the Game Changers project. Among the new Game Changers: the Las Vegas WaterStart initiative to conserve water from nearby Lake Mead. ASCE Game Changers represent the top trends and innovative projects shaping the future of water, energy, freight, and transportation infrastructure. Selected projects and trends spotlight groundbreaking technology and creative thinking to solve problems facing the nation’s infrastructure. Game Changers span the 16 categories of infrastructure graded in ASCE’s Report Card for America’s Infrastructure. Learn more about how each Game Changer is shaping the future of infrastructure. |
