Branch cleans its ‘adopted’ stretch of highway north of Wichita

As part of its community outreach, the Wichita Branch has adopted a two-mile stretch of Greenwich Road northeast of the city, and spent a day in late April involved in cleaning up trash along the busy thoroughfare.   Branch website>>

Younger Member Group joins in ‘Rebuilding Together’

Leader in water resources and dam engineering elected ASCE Fellow

Daniel Johnson, P.E., MS., F.ASCE, of Boulder, CO, a vice president of Tetra Tech, with more than 40 years of experience in water resources, dam engineering, geotechnical engineering, and civil engineering, has been elected an ASCE Fellow. Johnson has been involved as project manager or technical lead on more than 220 water resource and mine tailings dam projects in the U.S., Canada, and around the world. A member of the Boulder Water Resources Advisory Board and the STEM Advisory Committee for the Boulder Valley School District, Johnson has mentored many top-producing engineers in the dams engineering field, and is a senior mentor with Engineers Without Borders USA on a micro-hydropower project in Thailand.
